review 1: I absolutly loved it! I love Colin Meloy's writing style and it seems perfect for a young adult novel. It was a little long, and I tend not to like to read stories that long, but thanks to the authors writing style, I was kept hooked. Can't wait to read the third book! Also it helps to listen to the author's band, The Decemberists, while reading. Carson Ellis' drawings are amazing. To be honest, I complelty envy her. They are the right style of earthy drawings for the Wildwood series. They gave the story the right look, and helped imagine what Colin Meloy was trying to say in words. Overall, they are my favorite part of the book.
review 2: I read Wildwood in a matter of days. This unfortunately took me much longer due to that silly thing called a life, but it w
