review 1: A fascinating journey through the lives of three generations of Palestinian women, Three Daughters is well-researched and well-written. The settings are vividly depicted, and the characters are quirky and distinctive and compelling. The strong female characters are clearly sexual beings yet the sex scenes read more like bodice-ripper romance than the smart, historical fiction that makes up most of the book.
review 2: A few areas of this book were a bit slower than others and I found it hard to keep track of all characters being that it is a saga that spans over 3 generations of Palestinian women, The writing is very good although it was some poor editing Itt kept my interest for the most part. There is some sexual content as well as and abusive language a li
... morettle violence. It was a good read not my typical genre but I enjoyed it nevertheless. I did not like the abrupt ending. less
