review 1: A fascinating journey through the lives of three generations of Palestinian women, Three Daughters is well-researched and well-written. The settings are vividly depicted, and the characters are quirky and distinctive and compelling. The strong female characters are clearly sexual beings yet the sex scenes read more like bodice-ripper romance than the smart, historical fiction that makes up most of the book.

There is some sexual content as well as and abusive language a li

I really enjoyed the whole thing, but the ending was abrupt.
Some historical information but a sad book.
