This song has a fun beat and amazing lyrics. But this is typical Doughty. He’s got to be the most underrated singer-songwriter in the world right now.

The above line about jokes sounds like some kind of rebuke to someone with a sense of humor that is unfettered, or perhaps they aren’t funny at all. Maybe only funny in their mind.
