review 1: I love this series and this book kicks of right where the last book left off.I guess It may be an unorthodox way to find a wife, but you can just imagine aunt Helouise giving out orders to these tough brothers who have been through so much in there chosen careers in the Army, Marines, Air Force ect, but I adore the characters and the way each story develops.Austin was a great hero, he is a soldier full of guilt who feels he doesn’t deserve anything in life that his fallen friend now cannot have.Ella is a actress who has been utterly humiliated by the guy who she thought would be her partner for life.These two form an unexpected partnership to try to meet the rules set by Austin’s aunt, the partnership soon forms into a true relationship but it’s not without it’s bu... moremps in the road.They find more in each other than either expected.I really loved this book and the beautiful love story that unfolds. Highly recommend this series, and cannot wait for the next book in the series.
review 2: This is the second book in the series but can be read as a standalone....though I'm not sure why you'd want to since the first one was just as good.Cora Seton has done it again! I have read several of her books and The Soldier's E-Mail Order Bride was just as well written as all of her other books. Ms. Seton is a marvelous story teller, she quickly makes you fall in love with the characters and makes you emotionally invested in each one. One of my favorite things about this book was how emotionally invested you get with Austin and Ella. I was brought to tears several times during this story and at times even felt the urge to jump through the book and shake Austin. Austin is dealing with a lot of emotional struggles brought on after the death of a friend during the war, Ms. Seton did a wonderful job bringing the struggles of our military members to the forefront during Austin's story.The Soldier's E-Mail Order Bride has a lot of emotional ups and down, as well as some unexpected twists and turns. Ella and Austin have some intense chemistry so be prepared for some sizzling sex to occur. This will be one book that you won't be disappointed in reading. *I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinions* less
