review 1: Patrząc na pozostałe opinie sama się zastanawiam czy jestem sprawiedliwa oceniając tą książkę tylko na 3 gwiazdki. Naprawdę spodziewałam się lawiny wydarzeń i ogromnych emocji. A tak czytając Beholden czułam tylko irytację z powodu głupiego zachowania głównej bohaterki oraz jej faceta za lekkie odpuszczanie i brak walki o miłość - podobno swojego życia. Rozczarowana jestem również z powodu tej strasznej przeszłości bohatera. Tylko tyle ????? I o to cała awantura? Teraz jak na to patrzę to chyba mogę jednym słowem określić te dwie książki z tej serii jako harlekiny i niestety nic więcej.
review 2: I really liked the first book and this one picks up where that story left off. Unfortunately, this one didn't go where I wanted it ... moreto for Catherine and Jackson. Catherine became a little more stubborn than I wanted and for a lot of the book they weren't together which is a bugaboo frustration for me. The evil Piper continues to spread her not so loveliness. I continue to really like the roommate/best friend. I think the first book was really well done and developed. This one wasn't as tight and felt more drawn out than I wanted. less
