review 1: By far the best trilogy I have ever read. Great for summer reading. If you love books and reading, Inkheart is your best friend. A book about books, an amazing young adult novel. Inkspell was worse, but not at all bad. Inkdeath is the second best, but near the end, I did not want to stop reading. I swear, I was up reading for hours making sure I wouldn't miss a thing. These books are books you can't afford to miss.
review 2: Ink heart is a book of many unfortunate events, like life itself. Life seems to be just a time line with bumps and gaps that you have to pass and overcome. In this story a young girl named Maggie and her family, have an extraordinary gift. Or some call it a curse. Her dad has the power to read from a book, article, anything, and after he re
... moreads it aloud. It comes to reality, like a horrible dream. The catch is when you read aloud, whatever comes out, someone goes in. In this case, Maggie's mom gets taken in while Capricorn the man who was summoned switches places with her. After that happened Maggie's dad vowed to never read aloud again, but in order to get her mom out of the book you must redo what you've done, and fix everything step by step. Just as life; you do something bad, you learn from your mistakes and you can fix it by doing it differently or the same thing to get out. Ever heard of he saying "you got yourself in, you can get yourself out." less
