review 1: This would have totally been five stars if there wouldn't have been a cliffhanger at the end....totally DISLIKED!!! Other than that the storyline rocked and I love that both Amelia & Craig found each other and fell head over heels in love. Was not expecting the 180 that came out of no where at the end. The characters were all solid and I connected with all of them. They each had a huge part in making this book come together. Guess I have to wait for Truth to come out to see how the story ends....again DISLIKE on the ending!!!!
review 2: LOVED this book! There was no drama until the end. Amelia is taking a break from her studies and enjoying some time off at the beach with her dog Larry. Amelia is an independent and caring woman who can be fun, feisty, ad
... moreventurous, loves to bake and cook, surfs, is one heck of a volleyball player......why is she still single? Due to heartache and people always leaving her, she is unable to open up or trust anyone except for Blu and Pen.Craig is a former special forces sniper and currently a law student with his future planned out for him. Craig has taken himself off the market and has no interest in picking up girls unlike his brother Cory and friend Ben. All three men are adventurous and funny as can be! Craig's lack of interest is not because his mind is preoccupied with taking the bar in the next few months, it's that he had an ex who was just a tad crazy.Craig and Amelia become neighbors during their vacation and when their eyes meet.....it's not until the next day that they meet but when they do, we find Craig to be a caring man. Amelia finds Craig to be handsome and is intrigued but because of her heartache, she is reluctant to get to know him but Craig is persistent! Thank goodness for that. The story can get a little slow and the use of baby can be over used at times, but this was a great book. I loved the back and forth point of view of Amelia and Craig. The reader is able to get inside both of their heads. There were some great scenes and C.T. Oliver doesn't have the main characters just jump right into bed. She also develops not only the main characters but also the supporting characters, leaving me at least, wanting to know more about their story also.Craig and Amelia continue their relationship even after their vacation moving their relationship to the real world which Amelia was unsure about. Everything is great until Craig becomes out of character. We finally find out why in the last few chapters, why he just hasn't been himself. He promises to never lie to Amelia, but he kept this one thing from her.....that's only part of the cliff hanger. less
