review 1: As I rated Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe, I rate this 3.5.Once again, this trilogy continues to be entertaining with a fun concept. The stories are brutal but it's interesting to see how everything plays out. There was some decent moments. Overall I didn't love it, but I enjoyed it. Deadpool full on crazy instead of Deadpool-crazy is a bit odd and not as enjoyable. But this is a good read. I think I enjoyed this slightly more than the first one as the combination of Deadpool and the classics was pretty different and cool.I enjoyed it enough to finish the trilogy, but not enough to re-read. Again, I would recommend it for anyone looking for a fun Deadpool read, but not necessarily as a first step into Deadpool as it is not the best representation.
review 2:
... more It's essentially Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe (which I adored), only instead of killing the comic book heroes and villains, he kills the seeds of what influenced them. He targets classic literature, and I have to admit it's amusing watching him destroy all the classics.I can see how some might not like this Deadpool run: it's just ultra-violent, as he murders everything. But I think to look at it as simply that is to miss that there is an interesting meta-fictional premise to it. Deadpool has always broken the fourth wall, and while this is not as funny and joke filled as other Deadpool stories, I view "Marvel Universe" and "Killustrated" as him finally just going batshit insane. Whereas before he was insane, it was different. In Killustrated there is no going back, he's not going to save people, he's going to destroy everything because essentially he's sick of the shit. Deadpool is dark a lot of the time, this is the darkest Deadpool I've seen (but mind you I haven't read everything Deadpool). less

Very funny, but like with "Deadpool kills the Marvel Universe", it was just MUCH too short.

Despite the premise being fairly clever, I did not like this, it was not funny. :(
