review 1: Morgan is not the prettiest girl at school but she has the hottest boyfriend in the package of Cam the star football player and all around great guy. They have been best friends since they were little. Cam adores Morgan. They were even born on the same day. Morgan has this big Cam and Morgan sweet sixteen party planned. Wanting everything to be perfect. Until her boy friend has unexpected visitors and starts to change. This book was little slow at first and I was wondering how this would tie in Fairies but when it picked up it really picked up. Fairy Tale reminded me of My sweet sixteen parties on MTV meets Fairy story. By the end of this story I was in tears. I did not think I would feel that much about this story but by the end I felt so torn and heartbroken. I love Cam ... moreand I love Pip. I felt so in the moment. I am gving this book 4 out of 5 stars.
review 2: I really liked this book. Morgan's voice was strong and easy to follow, and I liked her as a protagonist. I also enjoyed learning about how the changeling process is reversed. I honestly would really have enjoyed learning more about that and about Otherworld in general, which is why this doesn't rate 5 stars from me. I would have loved to learn more about Morgan's gift - was she perhaps part fairy or something else? This book is definitely a character-driven one, and in that aspect, I thought it succeeded completely. I liked the original title "Fairy Lust" far better than the current one. less
