review 1: Loved this! So creepy and realistic, and that's saying something for a book about zombies! I love the unique take on how the zombies"came to be". this book got me out of a long reading slump when nothing could grab me and hold me to the story. I was paralyzed with suspense for most of the book, many times my toes curled in horror and my stomach was filed with dread. I consider it a rare and amazing thing when the written word can inspire this kind of feeling,I am so so so glad I came across this book and recommend it to anyone who loves the horror genre or someone who doesn't and wants to try and dip in and get a taste!
review 2: I really like the concept of this story which is a contained thriller. It involves a cast of interesting characters who are trapped ... morein a building and must battle to survive and escape. Each of the characters were introduced and well developed. The actions scenes were fast and furious and had tons of Gore. The source and reason for the Dead rising was new and a nice twist. I had this on my "to read " list for a while and thoroughly enjoyed it. less
