review 1: Read it for free off of Google's Play Books. I didn't know what I was getting myself into but I decided to read it. The name of the book caught my attention. I agree that it ended too quickly, but then again, it's just a part from the actual book. I liked what Daisy Goodwin had to say about the story as well as where she got her ideas etc.Looking forward to reading the entire book.
review 2: The Dutchess' Tattoo is actually a short story and excerpt from the book The American Heiress. The short story is the Dutchess' Tattoo and the excerpt follows after. The short story is a sort of mini mystery quickly solved and not very involved. It's followed by an odd list of "newspaper artcles and character descriptions which were interesting but kind of random. Kind of l... moreike a companion piece for the full length novel The American Heiress. I'm guessing as it was a little confusing. This was a free kindle book and though the writing style was enjoyable I don't think I'll be reading the full novel. less
