review 1: I read this book as a buddy read with friends, and I think that completely enhanced the experience. This was primarily a story about life, friendship, thinking about growing older and where you thought you'd be when you got there, and second chances. As a Gen X-er, I relate to so many of the things each character was contemplating. There were lots of happy moments, comic relief, and interesting discussions with a cute romance mixed in. This is one I highly recommend reading with a friend! I am looking forward to reading about more of the characters in the rest of the books.
review 2: I LOVED This story!! Daisy Prescott gave us real characters of my generation dealing with real emotion, angst, challenges and just life! The music and area references were comple... moretely appreciated, too. Maggie and Gil are 2 very special people, and I would be friends with the whole group! I loved learning each and every backstory!! I also now have a nagging feeling to go to the beach with my college buddies!!! Well done Daisy!! less
