review 1: A short 'self-help' book, much of which seems like commonsense, and parts make you ponder. I imagine for each personwhich part is the common sense and which part is the ponderwould be different. It's a good read, a refresher course ina way, and good ideas to think about making oneself a betterperson in handling the ups and downs of life. One of the ponder parts is the explanation that we are allinterconnected, there should be no I and You, then againhe says we are born alone and die alone. So thatcontradiction needs some consideration.
review 2: Great book. Everyone should read this. The book shows how love and compassion are the secret to happiness. This on face value sounds too simplistic but the book shows how to turn angry and selfish thought into good
... more thoughts. In order to do this we must learn to observe our thoughts. Those that are not useful we should observe them but not act on them, instead find love and compassion to replace them and act on these instead. less
