review 1: The idea of this is much more interesting than the execution, but overall it was pretty entertaining and the art was nice. It doesn't quite live up to its title and premise though, mostly because it's a mini-series and much too short.I liked the Thor/Iron Man interactions though and there were some very funny moments. The premise to have someone try to turn Iron Man into a god for the new age was very interesting, even if for many reasons it never got that far. Thor making his own investigations and coming to the rescue was also fun.Overall a fun, but not very memorable book.
review 2: A reliable system for generating four-issue miniseries:1.) Choose two superheroes you want to have fight together.2.) Identify their strongest points of comparison/contrast and s
... moreelect a villain who highlights these to pit them against.3.) Make sure to include some kind of misunderstanding or conflict so that the two of them fight each other at some point. A magically-induced conflict is good, because it's easily dismissed after you've gotten an iconic image for the cover.4.) Let them team up again for the happy ending. As formulas for stories go, it's not terrible, although I prefer the version that begins with 'Choose two superheroes you want to have make out'. less
