review 1: This was my favorite book of the ones I read so far. I really loved the moral of being different is okay and it might actually work out for our benefit in the end. The illustrations were very attention grabbing too. I really loved that the little dragon was determined to find his true identity and ended up saving his home. This made me feel good about myself being different from others and it is okay. The author had a really good story line and I would recommend this to others.
review 2: Crispin can't wait until his 7th birthday when he'll be able to breathe fire. He's extremely disappointed when on his birthday, he breathes whipped cream instead of fire. His father takes him to the doctor to see if they can determine what's wrong with him, but he breathes ba... morend-aids while he's there. Crispin seems to breathe everything but fire: bubbles, marshmallows, and even beachballs and teddy bears. It takes an emergency for him and his family to appreciate his special ability that makes him a not-so-typical dragon. less
