review 1: An emotional story that had me hooked from page one. This was written in such a way that I felt every ounce of happiness, upset, disillusion, angst, gratification, and hope that both David and Ryan experienced during their coming of age journey. I laughed, smiled, cried, and bled along with these fabulous characters Dan created with such well-written words. Definitely a keeper to be reread over and over.
review 2: First off..I'm a reader not a writer.Memorizing you is a story about a true first and only love. Recounting the book is not my job. My job is to tell you why I love it.This story was so well written. It is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I inhaled this book. Every word was important and placed with a purpose. I love when a story transports you in... moreto the book in bright bold colors and you can actually hear the characters talking. I feel as though I know David and Ryan personally.My emotions ran away with the book. I was so angry at one point I was shaking, then I was crying because my heart hurt . When a story makes you have true outward emotions you have to take notice. Thank you Dan Skinner.Was the book what I expected? NoDid the book end the way I wanted it too? HELL NO!Would I recommend the book? yesI am so glad I took the time with this story. It will stay with me for a very long time. less
