review 1: Having brother in the military, this book appealed to me more than it would have three years ago. After reading, I feel this book would be a good choice not only for its literary power, but also as a tool for teens (high school and up) who have a sibling serving. While I am sure no two experiences are the same, perhaps this story can help those left at home to understand some of the struggles of those that serve, and their roles as the brothers and sisters at home who will often face a changed sibling when he or she returns from duty.
review 2: What can I say? A tough and unloving brother relationship turns out to be beautiful and boding. I really liked Levi. He's a good kid and he has two good friends that I'm incredibly jealous of! His brother, Bo, came back
... more from a war and he's all screwed up. I feel for these families and the wars our government's cause and expect their citizens to shape up and go fight. It's sick. Though in return they basically pay for anything you want. Bo went for his own reasons. Just one thing I can't seem to imagine is all the walking these two characters do. I just don't see it happening in real life without any sort of problems (thieves, injury, Bo just being the jerk the he is/was, etc) but a good read and I had to finish in a day, you will too! less

This is about brothers and trying to find their way back to each other after one goes off to war.

I read this book a few years back for student book club and loved it! A great book for boys.

Excellent in a middle to upper middle class way. I hope for a sequel.

Though it had a good premise, I'm afraid I couldn't finish this book.
