review 1: I loved loved loved so many things about this book - the characters, the humor, the story. Plus on a personal note the rare and elusive hot ginger. Mmmm...Peter! The ONLY thing I was disappointed in and this is just a personal preference with no disrespect to the author - I wanted more sex. There was a lot of talk about it, thinking about it, etc., but the actual sex was limited to a few brief sessions that were either glossed over or interrupted by someone/some thing. The romance was a little limited as well due partly to damaged main characters and partly because they're not the romantic types. As a result this story was great on plot and action but too light on romance/sex. The story is told from Austin's POV, and because he thinks about sex with Peter almost constantly... more, I was disappointed the author never delivered. If he had, this might have been my all time favorite M/M romance.
review 2: This was my second read of Shattered Glass. I loved it even more this time. The wit and charm the complex characters. Just so thought out, I love Dani's writing style, it's just amazing. I fell in love with Peter and his bunny slippers right along with Austin. Loved those bunny slippers! Cai was simply so freakin sweet. I can't wait for his HEA. I really enjoyed the murder mystery/ crime family drama. This book has been out since 2012. So Cai's story in the series is IMHO is long overdue. But regardless of when it's released, I'll be first in line waiting to one click it. less

It was just as awesome as an audiobook as it was reading it myself.
