review 1: What a sweet, old-fashioned love story. I enjoyed the nostalgia of small town life in post WWII America. The hero and heroine of the story are likeable and I cheered for them all the way through. This is a debut novel, and in some areas (character development, flow of story) it is clear there is room for improvement. That said, the author has something that may be harder to learn, which is the ability to tell a compelling story about good people. I look forward to more books by Mr. Nelson. Recommended.
