review 1: This series was really good. It wasn't exactly intellectual, but any book written like that (looking at you... literary fiction) just feels stuck up and only worthy of being burned. It was heart-wrenching, the beginning. I'm not going to tell anyone what happens (but to be honest, if you haven't figured it out yet... open your eyes), but it was very sad. =(I don't leave reviews very often. I've only ever left one review before, and that was to a revolutionary supernatural-romance that breaks the rules in the most hilarious way. Only the best books get reviews from me.This story is exciting, deeply moving, and the ending (though the writer has done it before, in almost the exact same way) was incredibly memorable. Even if a book annoys you, the writer has won... why? You say... more it's annoyed you, you spend your life bashing it.But you're still talking about it. Aren't you? Win for the writer. This was the last time I felt Darren Shan had a great book. This one will live with me forever. I started this series in school, and finished them in college. I recommend it for anyone who likes a good read. =)
