review 1: I enjoyed this cute Ninja, Cowboy, Bear book that teaches young children that there are times when it is important to be quiet and times when it is ok to be loud and noisy. In the story Cowboy was so loud that Bear was not able to take pictures of the birds outside. Then he distracted Ninja who was trying to read a book, with his laughing and talking. When Cowboy finds a quiet place to sit and think, Cowboy realizes that he was not being sensitive to the needs of his friends. At the end of the story all three friends enjoy a noisy time of singing and making music. The illustrations in this book are adorable and add to the feel of the story.
review 2: The third book in the Ninja Cowboy Bear series, this book is true to its original design. Deceptively basic
... morepictures convey intriguingly complex ideas. The friendship continues between these three characters, and so do the lessons. In this picture book, cowboy learns the value of peace and quiet. It's a teaching story with a non-intrusive approach.I like how the loud pictures help the reader to understand just how noisy cowboy is. The comic-style panels on several pages also help lend to a feeling of action throughout. Whimsical and understandable, this is a fun read for child and adult alike less

My 5-year-old liked this book because there were a lot of noises for him to make.

Cute illustrations. Lots of sound effects. Story was overall "meh".
