review 1: Malden is just the kind if thief I was looking for in a book. The story twists and turns nonstop. It is very hard to set this book down! The plot was simple but well executed. The characters are more than simple stereotypes they have depth to them. There is a good mix of intrigue action and dialogue that blends together to make a good story. The best part is this book is great on its own, but it sets the tone for the other books in the trilogy that keep getting better! I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fantasy.
