review 1: Holy wow! One of the best suspenseful, twisty plot books I have had the pleasure of reading in a very long time! This is a must-read for those of you searching for that "really wish I could find a really great book". I made the mistake of grabbing this #4 in the series & was completely hooked on it-so couldn't stop to go back to book 1....but now...I am going back to book 1 for more in the series as well as his standalone books. Awesome find in this author!
review 2: In search of a mindless mystery I saw this among the new and popular collection in the library. Totally and very happily surprised by the tightly woven and suspenseful story. The attorney Jason Kolorich, is visited by a man named James Drinker, who tells him he is being framed for a series of bru... moretal murders. It isn't long before Jason realizes that his client may very well be the killer. Jason's efforts to prevent further murders and turn the police on to the killer are greatly hampered by a burgeoning addiction to painkillers. This mystery kept me guessing til the very end - a real treat. less
