review 1: When I first started listening to this, I wasn't sure I was going to like it because it seemed so grim and very sad but I'm glad I stuck with it. It's about a young boy, Goose, who has seemingly lost all that is precious to him. Then he meets a strange man who doesn't seem to know who he is yet has visions about the people he and Goose come into contact with. Gradually, through Goose getting to know Anthony, he regains all that he thinks he has lost and is redeemed himself in the process. In contrast to its depressing beginnings, the book takes on a magical quality that is truly uplifting. A very clever piece of writing that I am in awe of.
review 2: I loved this book so much, because of it's orginality. I read the whole book on Christmas eve, because I found m
... moreyself not being able to put it down. The character "Goose" really intrigued me, because of his background and I think his character really potrayed how one selfish act can affect/ruin lifes. Also it was a real eye opener for me, because it showed how Goose took his parents for granted, and he didn't realise how much he needed them. less

Lost Christmas got lost on me. It is somehow too much of a cliché.
