review 1: "Moorehead Manor" is a very entertaining story with a few surprises for the reader. The writing was little choppy at points especially when it comes to the characters, however, the details within, concerning the plot were very vivid. The plot was very original, including elements that aren't always included in a good ghost story. Between the gory details and the enthralling plot this is one book i do recommend as an easy, quick, and even a little spooky read.
review 2: "Moorehead Manor" would make a very touching movie script!I was left speechless by the time I read the last page! This book is bursting with emotion and suspense! Heart-wrenching at times, it makes you stop and ponder the questions of life itself. I really could not have guessed any of the myst
... moreeries in this story; it was completely unpredictable. This fact kept me on the edge of my seat as I undertook the journey with the young adventurers in this tale. The story is told with a surreal quality behind it all; as if one is seeing the events unfold in a dream. "Moorehead Manor" took me by surprise with these features which are rarely found in the horror genre - young adult horror in particular. From the cover image - which evokes a long gone era - to the captivating text, David McMullen-Sullivan proves that he is a talented author! I can see that he is more than capable of adapting to different genres and audiences. Now, I'd like to read a full-length novel from this writer. :D less
