review 1: The Centurion's Wife is well researched and well thought out. I thought it was perfectly ordinary, however. It may just be me, but Janette Oke always writes wonderfully when she writes alone. Writing with somebody else, however, her writing style is lost. It was very historically acurrate. I did enjoy having a glimpse into the time in which Jesus was alive. That is alwawys interesting to me. Other than that, this book was nothing spectacular.
