review 1: I loved every word in this book! From the descriptions of the beautiful quirky house to the amazing "talents" that the town's inhabitants possess. The mystery murderer was not easily guessed and keeps the reader wondering until the final chapters of the book and still gives a bit of a surprise. The main character Clyde is pretty awesome and I'm interested in seeing what the future holds for her! Can't wait to read the next installment!
review 2: This is only my second cozy mystery and I was pretty impressed with my first one so it had a lot to live up to, but I ended up loving it too!! I'll be honest. At the beginning of the book I really didn't think this girl liked animals.... at all!! And I started reading cozies because I was told I could find animal themed... more mysteries so I was pretty upset with Clyde!! I have three shih tzus and adore animals!! By the end of the book, I was happy to see that Clyde did like animals, her family was adorably kooky, her lovelife was off to a great start, and it was pretty good little mystery!! I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series!! less
