review 1: This book... WOW. I can't even. Just no. Ugh. I'm not sure i should be reviewing this book considering I didn't finish it but WOW. The world needs to know not to read this and all i can say is It deserves the name it was given. Half of this book was the Tom talking about 'back when I was kid' and the other half is fail. Just fail. I could feel my IQ oozing out of my head while I was reading this book and honestly it was really boring. So if you want to read something mind numbing this is your soulmate, otherwise I'd suggest you put the book down and walk away.
review 2: 3.5 stars. I enjoyed this story as a twist on the tale of the guy named Tom who is the "Chosen One", who ends up making a huge mistake--he says no. He is transported to another dimension, to a ... morekingdom that is basically filled up with trash. He is told that he is the chosen one. At home, he realizes that he has too much on his plate, so he tells "Crap Kingdom" no thanks. Then, a lot more happens. Of course, Tom starts to regret his choice. A lot happens after that. I had a hard time with some of the stuff that got messed up in his normal life, especially in his relationship with the girl of his dreams. But the ending really worked well. The author explains the whole reason behind the "Chosen One" business in a great and refreshingly new way. He also does an awesome job narrating his own book. less
