review 1: This book is great for people who like comedy and mystery. I put it in the mystery category because during the book the most thing you are going to wonder is , why cant he sleep? This book is also written very well and once you start the book you will want to finish the whole thing. In my opinion the book is amazing with descriptions, I can picture all the details that the book provides. This book is a first person narration. Darren bennet is the boy who could never sleep and never had to, and the one thing he truly loved was drawing. Darren ends up meeting a friend who is also a very fascinating drawer and draws stuff related to darrens. One of the best things about this book is its ending so please read this amazing book.
review 2: Overall, another "meh". I
... morekind of went hot and cold through this book - I really liked the premise (a boy who doesn't sleep?!), thought the ending was rushed, at times I liked the friendship between Darren and Eric (other times, it really didn't make sense at all), and sometimes liked the writing (but other times thought it was way too run-on-ish). All in all, I thought the plot would be the driving force in this book and it turned out that the friendship was the biggest thing that kept me reading (and even that was not super compelling). So, once again, meh. less

This is really not my kind of book, but it is a great story nonetheless hence the 4 star rating.
