review 1: I liked this book, it took me longer to read due to illness but I enjoyed batting back and forward. I think that bring fun in to a relationship. I did find some humor but not like I was expecting to. No out loud laughs but it did make me smile and chuckle at times. I feel opposites do work and we need someone unlike us to make our world go around. With just a enough difference to keep one smiling through the hard time. I feel this book gave that to the reader.
review 2: So far I like the Hero but I'd like to either slap or strangle the Heroine. I'm not a violent person but Wow is she annoying. The depiction of Nashville is irritating. ... moreon on you if you have to purchase yours in a store. Also the fact that if you place your Coach Bag on a chair that is not Designer or Designer Inspired you're doomed to a Plastic Folding Chair in Hell. I looked up this Author and she's listed as being a writer of Romantic Comedy so I figure she's poking fun at certain types of people but instead of finding it funny I find it highly annoying and irritating. Course on some level its still a good book because all the characters are likeable including the Heroine, except when she's being anal retentive. She freaks when she arrives to work at 6:02 AM, she needs a couple Chill Pills. Toward the end it picked up a bit and had a good ending. It turns out this is the first book in a Trilogy but I have no desire to read the other two.I read the Author info and apparently she has gotten several awards and even leads workshops so in the eyes of some in the industry she must be good but I personally didn't care for her writing style or the storyline (which did sound good in the blurb) enough to give her another chance. You may like her and since the book is free on Amazon (at least it was when I got it) it won't cost any money to give her a try just time. less
