review 1: After finding this book and deciding that I wanted to read it I put if off for about two weeks or so. Why?A fair bit different than I thought it was going to be, and a whole lot better too! Tori is running, sure she seems to have it all together traveling where she want's and handing out love advice with her coffee. But in reality she's running scared from her past, from her nightmares and most of all herself. When Rain saves her from a rival MC spark's start to fly, though not the ones that ignite passion, at least not at the start. When Rain realizes that he won't be able to stay away from Tori he claim's her, though he'll have to break down her wall's if he really want's her to be his. I would say that this is a 4.5 star book. Almost everything worked in this story and ... moreit was interesting to me that the whole plot was based off of coincidence and chance. If Tori hadn't come into town when she did, if the rival MC hadn't stayed around and moved on like they were supposed to. What were the chances that a connection to Tori's past would be in town when she was, if she had never stopped there then she might never have come across that person for the rest of her life. I enjoyed how one event set off all the others for this book, it was planed really well!
review 2: Liked this story line very much it had a little bit different angle from other MC books that I have read. This book focused more on the people in the town and their relationship rather than the nitty-gritty-bad-boy biker world. I have to say that I would categorize this as more of a romance novel than a biker book. It just didn't have that gritty vibe like a Kristen Ashley, Madeline Sheehan, or Joanna Wylde. That said I will be reading the other books in this series. The book was well written, characters were compelling, and plot moved along nicely. But if you are looking for a dirty biker book this isn't going to satisfy that craving. less
