review 1: Read like a Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode. Seriously, with the full on description of the vampires being exactly how they are in Buffy, nobby headbones and all.Waaaaay too much annoying chit chat. Really didn't have any chemistry between the main couple.The plot was quite weak.Did feel like there was stuff missing. Not overly impressed. This was my first foray with the author. Hope her other stuff is better, if I bother with it at all.
review 2: Too much chatty sarcasm. There's a difference between two people joking with each other during sex and everyone having fun and what Delilah did in this book. The sarcasm was misplaced and felt like it was trying to force a connection between the two main characters, as if during their first encounter they knew each... more other so well they could banter like that. It didn't work and was distracting. Disappointing, because I am a fan of Delilah's and I expected to like it more. less
