review 1: I stumbled across this book in a pile of books at my Mothers that she had planned to give away. I squirrelled it away and am pleased I did. This is a wonderful, sweet story, with which cat lovers will identify. For me, it had the added intrigue of being set in a part of Northumberland where I grew up and with which I am familiar. Hearing the place names and the descriptions of life from a time when the world was slower, simpler and more naive was fascinating for me. This is a gentle and easy read with beautiful description. The story of this remarkable pet will stay with me for a considerable time. This isn't a book that would please everyone and while beautifully written is very dependent on the reader's enjoyment and interest in the subject matter. That said it will cert... moreainly leave most feeling a little warmer on a cold Winter's afternoon/evening.
review 2: I must confess I have a love-hate relationship with this book. It was the book I read to my mother on the last day of her life. Pawprints in the Moonlight is a heartfelt story about a man who saves and cares for a motherless Maine Coon cat and the love that grows between them. It is a tale of salvation, redemption, loss, acceptance, and surrender. The moral: We are tasked, with grace and kindness, to let go of those we love. In letting them go, we learn they never truly leave. less

I enjoyed reading it, cats have such remarkable personalities and they are all different.
Lovely adventures of Toby Jug in his first year. Some funny and sad moments.
Poor - I much preferred The Cat Who Came In From The Cold by Deric Longden
A delightful little book for a quick read
