review 1: I dived into new romance territory with Winter's Heat-medieval romance. Overall I found the story to be intriguing and found myself looking for moments to continue reading. I have always been a fan of strong leading ladies and men so I could easily fall for Rannulf and Rowena. My only qualm would be the out of nowhere turn around on Rannulf's feelings especially. I also wish a bit more of the story was told from his pov. I love it when a romanceis told thru the hero vs. heroine. With that being said I'm excited to start the next book in the series.
review 2: I didn't know what to expect when I picked up this ebook. One thing that caught my interest was that the book was written to portray real life so I really enjoyed that aspect of this book. It was written ve... morery well and tastefully and the plot was very original. I liked Rowena a lot and felt she was a very real down-to-earth person. The book wasn't all fluff and it had a solid storyline which was very exciting since I loved it so much I'm continuing to finish the series off. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who love Medieval England romances without it being overly romantic and sappy. less
