review 1: Meredith recently canceled her wedding because she found her fiancé in bed with two of her bridesmaids. So she walks into Chocolates and Gems, combination candy store and jewelry shop, hoping to find something to lift her spirits. There, the most gorgeous man she’s ever seen comes up to her and buys her an emerald pendant she was admiring in the jewelry case. He tells her emeralds were coveted in ancient times for their magical powers and they were believed to heighten sexual desires in women. The handsome stranger, Connor, also offers to share his fudge with her. Soon he’s seducing her. Giving her the most passionate experience of her life. And I had no idea of the things you can do with fudge. This is a hot and yummy read. Lot’s of fun. I highly recommend... more it.
review 2: This was an ok freebie. I wasn't really that impressed. The basic story line was good and the characters were ok. There wasn't much depth or emotions to this story, and that dampened the appeal to me. I couldn't really get into this one and didn't really feel a connection between them or to the book at all. It also had a crude tint to it throughout instead of a sensual or romantic feel. Not really my style. There were quite a few mistakes too that had me having to read a part over and that didn't help any either. I wouldn't say I hate this, but I gave it two stars for the good basic outline. It could have been better, by a long shot, but it wasn't completely terrible. Pretty much a 'you get what you pay for' cliche. Good Luck less
