review 1: Not to many women in the bible, get their stories told. Sometime I have wondered what their lives were like. This was a nice version of Claudia's story. The granddaughter of Caesar Augustus, but living in exile most of her growing up years. Married Pontius Pilate, whom they loved each other very much. To the death of Jesus and the repercussions to that event on her family. As a woman of faith she helped as she could. She is a new hero of mine. At least for this version.
review 2: This was a great book that took place in the Roman Empire around the time of Jesus. It is the story of Claudia, who was the wife of Pontius Pilate. Though very little is known about her, the author did a great job of writing a fictional account of her life. In the book, Clau... moredia becomes a follower of Jesus after he heals a deformity in her son's foot. It gives a moving account of Jesus's life and Claudia's journey as an early Christian. The history about ancient Rome and the details about the time period were also very interesting. I would definitely recommend it! less
