review 1: This book is good, I liked it. This is about some Navy SEALs members going out to do missions to find some terrorists. When there was many terrorist, there this one "special" terrorist, Abu Shabal. He attempted to smuggle terrorist into America and he runs away. The SEALs go to places like Somalia, the Middle East, Costa Rica, ect... to hunt this guy down. With the events hat were inspired by real-life events, this book is pretty good. There's more like this but none depicting how Navy SEALs do their jobs.
review 2: This book about an elite group of Navy Seals tells a story of how they live their lives and serve their country. It follows the lives of these heroes as the combat international forces from Costa Rica, Mexico, Czech and the Middle East. The intell... moreigence used to keep our nation safe is enough to make you suspect the most common of people, but hatred and war are our reality and this book does not fail in reminding of those facts. This is my first Tom Clancy novel, which was written by Dick Couch and George Galdorosi. They are expert writers and spin a tale that gives you just enough information about each character to make you feel as if you know them. This build on their characters and how they perform their designated tasks while in combat, makes you lean into the story as the author details out what they are doing. I have to say I was tense as the guys(i.e AJ, Roarke) were under fire. The fact that I listened to this via audible only served to enhance the experience. The narrators, Steven Weber was a perfect choice. less
