review 1: I loved this book. A little more emotional for a mystery than I am use to. I cried through the first three chapters and felt connected to the characters. Very well written. I typically do not like books where the murderer is blatently obvious, but this one was done in such away that you understood why no one connected the dots. Even though I was sure I knew who was guilty, I found myself questioning it several times until the end. I will be looking for more books in this series.
review 2: Well, this wasn't nearly the dark, mysterious book I had been expecting. It was just a light, womanly murder mystery that was somewhat predictable and slightly annoying. The main character was just silly. "oh, my childhood friend was murdered! Oh no! (some other people) were k... moreilled too! But you know what? My life is hard because I just went through a divorce and my parents died a couple of years ago. And wait! That officer is hot!" I mean, come on. less
