review 1: I really found this biography to be interesting. Babe was very brash and cocky, but she could certainly back it up!! The human interest aspect is always my favorite part of sports and this book was chock full of human interest. After being so strong and competitive, it was very sad to read about Babe finally losing her battle with cancer at 45. Any author would've been proud to develop a character in a book like Babe which makes it that much more amazing that she was a real person.
