review 1: I read this book when I was in elementary school. I went to a Catholic school, and while there are a lot of mistakes, and the protagonist does have a rather warped perception in regards to what make a person a saint, I find that this book is fitting to read as a child. I enjoyed it as a story of a girl growing out of her childish ways and beliefs, she grows up a bit. If you can overlook the mistakes that are made, you can truly enjoy it.
