review 1: this is a very unique story and I loved the way you got to know each character it's like there was a few leading characters and you got inside them all.... As the story unfolds you can't but hope that goodness wins the day ..... I never got.lost in the storyline donna galanti writes very clearly and you feel very quickly this is.going to be a good as it's flows so nicely ...... this book is.well with reading.....
review 2: Something about this book was just "off" for me, I can't quite put my finger on what but I didn't really connect to the characters even though they had all experienced such tragedies. I also found some of the love scenes to me odd, alot of "backside" action which I felt didn't fit into the characters personalities. Like I said, something was... more "off". I would still read other things by this author though as the concept of the book was interesting. less
