I took a long break from doing Top 5 Wednesday, but now I’m back at it! Top 5 Wednesday was created by Lainey at gingerreadslainey and is hosted by Sam from thoughtsontomes. If you’re interested in joining, check out the rules and topics at their Goodreads group! This week’s topic is about books that you didn’t get to in 2017, but want to prioritize for 2018. Here are my choices:
- Tehanu by Ursula K. Le Guin – This is the last book in the Earthsea Cycle series, (besides a couple of short story collections set in the same universe). If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know it’s one of my favorite fantasy series. I had intended to read it last year and check another series of my list. However, for whatever reason, I just didn’t get to read it. I would really like to change that in 2018.
- Cress by Marissa Meyer – The Lunar Chronicles was another series I fully expected to finish last year – especially because I had finally purchased all the books. But again, I just left it on the wayside. It’s not for disliking the series, I guess I just haven’t been in the mood for it.
