review 1: This was a great read! The author has great style, flow and voice. This book broached a few uncomfortable yet suprisingly exciting subjects for me. Its definetely not like anything I've read yet, but I'll leave you all to figure out what I mean by that. No spoliers here! Overall, an exciting and adreneline injected read. Our swoon worthy, excitingly over-aggressive, darkly passionate hero was well suited to the plotline (love the cover by the way....rawr) and the heroine suprised me with how much I liked and respected her... no simpering damsel in distress here! I will be contining with this series and look forward to reading Lynne again!
review 2: This surprised me in good ways. Sure it is PNR so there is mating frenzy and sex and the attraction is uber fast... more but Micah and Sam and the guardian angel interest me. Interesting explorations into LGB issues. Something about the author's style just appeals to me. I wish Micah had been a little bit farther away than a few weeks of being brokenhearted but what can you do? If you like this genre you will probably like this. Oh and be prepared for some BDSM that sometimes seems out of place... less
