review 1: I love it when you come across a gem like this... there I was, wanting to read something but sick of the usual stuff in this genre and by luck found this.I bought this late one night in order to have something to read on the bus the next day. Needless to say, my bus journey was long and boring, I just wanted to read the first few pages and the next thing I knew, it was 2am and I had read the entire book. Its short but so well written that you just can’t put it down. If you are like me, then you will read until a flat comes but this story had none and so I kept reading. This book starts the way it means to go on, at no point did I skim read (which, yes I have found myself doing when authors drag out a scene) but not in this book. The character are well written, you feel l... moreike you know them and are invested in them ALL, not just the main characters. Estelle is fantastic, she is vulnerable but not wet or pathetic. I want to be her friend.Ink is a DOM, a real one. Hard but caring. HOT HOT HOTY... and can tie me up any day.The other characters are just as realistic but I don’t want to give too much away so will leave you to read this to find out for yourselves. If I could give this book 10 stars I would. this is an author that is fresh and doesn’t drag her feet, she doesn’t pad out her writing with endless descriptions of nonsense, everything in here is written to make an impact, cause you to feel or set up a twist. This is the first book I have read in ages that I haven’t seen the twist unfolding way before it is revealed. This author is FRESH and imaginative and I cannot wait to read more (I have bought a few more of her books and they are as good as this)
review 2: This was a sleeper book for me. Came across it accidentally and decided to read it. It's a short read but it packs a whollop. Excellent BDSM themed book. Author found a nitch in a paranormal/urban fantasy saturated field and created an unique book that held my attention. And the play scenes were hot, hot, hot. Did have some confusion episodes where I felt the author hadn't edited her story line but she really surprised me by putting in a couple twist and turns that made sense later on in the book. This was a new to me author but won't be a stranger. If she writes books as good as this one I'll be looking for more........ Thank you Ms. O'Connor. Excellent story. less

Just OK. The story line wasn't bad, but under developed and poorly edited.
