review 1: A vampire novel... but not just another vampire novel. The Utterly Uninteresting and Unadventurous Tales of Fred, the Vampire Accountant tells the story of a young and exceddingly borring young man who has become a vampire but refuses to let it change his life. This is a collection of funny, light hearted short stories of Fred's adventures as he is sucked into a world of paranormal creatures.I had difficulty putting it down and laughed from page 1. Wonderful and I look forward to the second installment.
review 2: Don't let the title fool you! This is anything but uninteresting. Each tale offers a fun romp through the parahuman world of vampires, weresteeds (yes, wereSTEEDS), zombies, and devils. There's plenty of adventure, fights, LARPing, and the strangest jou
... morest ever. The characters are fun, different and crazy all in their own ways. Albert holds a special place in my heart, everyone needs a zombie in their lives. Bubba made me smile. And Fred, of course, the vampire who wears a sweater vest and has no idea what he's doing. I laughed. I smiled as Fred learns to live his life... after he dies. The beginning of each tale got a bit repetitive, giving us information we knew. The words lacked emotion, I didn't feel the love story, the panic, the fear. Then again it is written more as recollections from a journal than a first hand account. In the end, Fred is not an emotion-filled guy, so I went with it and enjoyed it. The final words left a smile on my face. less

Hilarious vampire story. Strongly recommend it. PG-13 on some of the language though.

Short stories in series rather than a novel.
