review 1: The final book for Ruby "roo" Oliver did not disappoint. It was good to finally see her not obsessing over Jackson, Kim and Cricket. She made some genuine friends. She didn't let the mistakes of others dictate her thoughts about herself. No more self-loathing! Ruby is a very funny and interesting character. You really witness her grow up in this series. Once again can I just say how great it was that she wasn't trying to be the snobs that are Kim and Cricket friends again. Gosh those girls were just horrible. Thankfully Nora got away from them as well. Meghan is just so much better. :p
review 2: This is THE BEST YA series I've read (not considering the themed ones, like HP or such). All the characters just seem so real and most of them are really lovable and/or
... more relatable. Ruby's evolution throughout the "Reginald" process is absolutely charismatic and it seems you're her great friend. Sometimes I felt I was in her shoes.Too bad it came out (quite) some time after I finished high school... Ruby is the girl I wish my fifteen-year-old self had been. Yes, even with all the troubles and complications. less

Found this story very dragging.. it just kept going and didn't really find a meaning to the story.

I didn't think it was as good as the first three, but it was still wonderful.
