review 1: Well, I must say this is the first E. Lockhart book I've read. Unfortunately, the previous series was out of stock. So when I read, I sometimes been confused because it gets a lot of foreign names were no longer described, as well as their habits. But, I also have to say that I fell in love with Ruby Oliver. She is a smart girl, and sweet too. In this book, Ruby struggled in solving the puzzle, a true friend, and her love story. Well, it's a fun book!
review 2: So here's the thing about these books. Maybe we weren't all as boy crazy as Ruby Oliver when we were in high school (and I'd certainly be skeptical if anyone tells me they had boys falling out of the sky like this), but I know I was, and Lockhart does an incredible job of capturing the trauma and crazy o
... moref it without going overboard. It's familiar and bizarre and cringe-inducing without shaming or making fun of Ruby, and that's a rare and real thing. less
