review 1: This was really terrible. Not only are the characters completely utterly bland, the art is cringe-worthy and the dialogue laughable, with weirdly emphasized words, which makes for some hilarious times if you read it aloud. So while I'll always have fond memories and some inside jokes because of this, I still think it's pretty awful.(Yup, same review as for Vol 1 and Vol 2. And I do this because it's true for all of them.)
review 2: Fast-paced superhero action-adventure. What else can you ask for? A quick read but really entertaining. I liked Patch Zircher's art in Mystery Men and I like it even better here. This is Brubaker's second to the last Captain America trade and it's much better than the last two trades. Here's hoping he builds up to an epic ending.I al
... moreso just want to mention that the extra story at the end of the book was from a comic I used to have when I was a kid. It was cool to see it reprinted in this volume. less
