review 1: This was okay, good most of the time, but needed to be a bit longer. I like a short read, so I'm not saying it needed to be a full length novel, but I think there was key dialogue missing here that would have made this a much more complete story. The main characters barely had a full conversation but this wasn't just about sex. This is a 2.5-3 stars, but could have been a 4 stars with a little more dialogue to show a growing and believable relationship.
review 2: This is more of a 2.5 for me. I found it hard to sympathize with either MC. Jake I just wanted to smack and Ross came off as nothing but an arrogant asshole with control issues. Maybe if the story had been longer, the characters could have evened out some. I love enemies to lovers kinds of stories, but... more Jake's treatment of his BFF and ex Sam, and then Ross's over-the-top top attitude with Jake, kind of left me feeling cold. less
