review 1: This is an incredible yaoi manga that might be the best one so far if it continues down the same road!In volume 1 we start with an introduction to the story about what happened ten years ago that was so crucial for the present and the course of Izumi Sena's life.Ten years ago, Izumi Sena's parents, both famous people in show business, did a wedding commercial. The thing was, they were missing a little girl to play the part of a young couple who catch the bouquet. So, in order not to delay the shooting, they took Izumi who was a boy and dressed him as a girl. It worked because Izumi was so darn cute and girly like. When the time for the shoot was near, Izumi was beside himself and couldn't do it. Then little Ryouma stepped in and made him feel better. At that moment Ryouma ... morefell in love with the little girl with the unusual color of her eyes and her beautiful smile which stayed with him for the next decade (unknowing it was a boy).Izumi Sena today, unlike his famous parents and his famous older brother Shougo (lead vocalist in a rock band) is an introvert otaku and a college student who doesn't want anything to do with show business. He dreams of becoming a mangaka because he is in love with a manga character called Lala Lulu. He draws every day even though he isn't getting any better in it.One day, Ryouma (a boy in the commercial ten years ago), agrees to do to the same commercial only with him and the "girl" in the spotlight. The only thing he insists on is that it's gotta be the same girl meaning poor Izumi. Izumi refuses at first but is blackmailed by his brother with the life size body pillow of Lala Lulu at stake. So he agrees. And the commercial goes as planned and Ryouma finds himself in love with his childhood sweetheart. And he makes a move on "her"... And then realizes "she" is a he and all hell breaks loose. Ryouma feels disgusted with himself because despite knowing Izumi is a boy, his feelings remained unchanged...
review 2: Ch. 1 - 5. Izumi belongs to a celebrate family but wants nothing to do with show business. He is quiet, introverted and wants to be a manga artist despite being a terrible artist. His family convinces him to do a 10 year anniversary wedding commercial, where he gets to wear the wedding dress. Ryouma is the heartthrob co-star, who thinks Izumi is a girl. They met 10 years ago and Ryouma fell in love with Izumi. Ryouma finds out Izumi is actually a boy and is angry at first, then decides he doesn't care about Izumi's gender he still desires him. This is a complex situation dealt with in a simple, comedic way. Characters don't dwell on their emotions or the sudden revelations. I would have liked this more if it were more serious. It's cute and pretty to look at. less
